Drama: Sooo latley i have noticed my friends have been getting closer but i havent. I have been getting left out for about 2 years now and idk what to do. I have told them twice about me feeling left out. Nothing. Like today they went to a store together and didnt invite me. They talked about it infront of me. As they were walking to the store i just walked home. No one noticed. (Also there is like 7 people in that group but its mainly 3 or them). MY DRAMAAAA: ok so i just came home from the best weekend of my life where i hung out with my friends and we got so much closer. But when i got home i found my dog by the side of our pool and he drowned. we just dropped him off at the vet to be cremated and i just don’t know what to do with all my emotions bc I’ve been being rude to everyone i love and even my friends i went on vacay with. The pandemic started a revolution of more isolation then ever. I was 19 when it started and now I’m 23 and I feel crucial years of my social growth were stunted. I think this is more common in white people not because they have no culture but rather because they’re ashamed of their culture/race. I find that they will stumble upon something that connects them to a culture and while some people will be normal and just continue to like that culture, others like Izzy, will become obsessed. While this isn’t okay and there definitely is something wrong with the people who take it that far, I do think that social media plays a role in why people are becoming ashamed of their race, and it only helps grow their obsession with another race/culture.
